Ready to Top 2009

Filed under: Pelotonia News, Steve's Stuff — The Blog @ 8:39 AM

It’s 8:36 a.m. – and we’re at 2,255 riders.

This means today WILL be the day we blow past last year’s total of 2,265 riders! That’s quite an achievement, but we still have a long way to go. So,  if you’re one of those riders who knows you’re going to ride and hasn’t signed up yet, stop procrastinating and sign up. You know you want to do it. You know it will feel great to be part of the Pelotonia community and be a rider. And then go for a ride. I’m heading out in a few minutes and hopefully the rain will hold off for a couple of hours.

Take a few minutes to scroll down – and read about some of incredible riders…

  1. I road last year and am signed up to go again. Does anyone have the relative elevation? I would like to train for those climbs and would like to know what I am in for. something like what my Garmin gives me since I didn’t have it last year.

  2. I’m from Lancaster and would like to extend an invite to you to ride with a small group on Thursday evenings or Sunday afternoons. We ride the the hills down in our area. By riding the hills last year (just because it’s where I live) I was well prepared to ride the hills for the pelotonia.
I ride most of the time by myself Sunday mornings instead of with the group. It’s cooler and I often have other things to do the rest of the day.
